Hey everyone, we did it! We made it through our 5-week Intercultural Communications Course (ICC). We had so much fun and learned so much. So here we are, introducing what I hope will be a weekly update on the fun stuff our kids have been up to. And with that you need a fun hashtag, like #MondayFunday! Up this week are some pictures from ICC in Waxhaw, North Carolina.
What a packed month: kids keeping up with school; hiking; cross-cultural training; eating; a required “date night”; fishing; Valentine’s Day; Anna’s birthday re-do (since we were all sick on her actual birthday); Asher’s birthday; getting mail; saying good-bye to our dear friends at the Vietnamese Church; flowers given at dusk; playing at the playground; getting to ride on a golf cart; and finally the group of ICC participants and staff and volunteers that we came to know and love over the course of the 5 weeks we trained in North Carolina.
