#wycliffewednesday

It’s update time! For those of you who haven’t been able to regularly keep up with our journey, or have only recently started following us, I thought I’d give you a quick update.

Currently, we are working hard towards our goal, and praying that it is also God’s will, that we will be able to head to the Solomon Islands by Christmas! Our Wycliffe Ministry budget is currently pledged at 71%, and once we reach 100% Wycliffe will release us to go and serve! We sold our house in the U.P. (Michigan’s Upper Peninsula), and the one downstate, and are now living in Ludington, Michigan in my mother’s upstairs! We are still homeschooling, and we’re starting to get pretty excited as God brings more partners to join our team in preparation to go.

This ministry team will partner with us in Bible translation through supporting and sustaining us in ministry–by providing for our physical needs through pledged giving towards our Wycliffe ministry budget, and by upholding us spiritually through committed prayer and regular encouragement. As God develops this team, we are on the look out for partners who are willing to join us in prayer and/or in finances. We are also looking for advocates who will share our story and the need for Bible Translation with their friends and churches.

Would you prayerfully consider whether God may be calling you to partner with us in one or more of these ways?
