Meet the Maintenance team! These guys work hard to keep the SITAG buildings and equipment up and running. They sweat all day long to keep white ants at bay, rain damage to a minimum, houses in tip-top shape, and any other crazy thing that might come up.
As many of you know, Josh is good at lots of things. He is a true jack of all trades, and he teases that he is also a master of none. But all of us here at SITAG know we would be up a creek without him. He is constantly called upon to fix this or that, and works hard to keep everything in good order around SITAG.
Max is the SITAG Grounds Keeper. He had a successful career as a grounds keeper for a local university and retired a few years ago. But instead of putting on some well-earned loafers, he joined the SITAG team, picked up a machete and has been faithfully beating back the jungle to maintain a beautiful landscape. Considering the size of SITAG’s property, this is no small task for one man.
The SITAG property has much use from all it’s transitory guests, and it faces many challenges from the weather and pests. It’s so nice to have a faithful team working hard to keep it safe from bugs, rain, and maintenance troubles—freeing the translators to focus more of their efforts on translating the Bible!
