Have a look at this slide show!

These past 2 weeks have been very full! Check out the slide show above for pictures of all the fun we have been having.

We started out the holiday season with a Thanksgiving lunch at a very nice hotel, put on by the American Consulate here in Honiara. We ate real turkey and American mashed potatoes🥔🤤.

Next we had our family tradition of decorating the house for Christmas! It’s not quite as elaborate as it used to be in the states, but we had a lot of fun, and it went a lot faster! 😆 🎄 🥳

Then came the SITAG Christmas party 💚🎉🏝❤️. We had so much fun at Graceland Nature Park outside Honiara. We ate yummy food, played games, swam in the river, and enjoyed some relaxation and hanging out!

The KCC Youth had their “closing” event next, and Josh, Anna, Asher, and I worked hard to make 9 loaves of banana 🍌 bread. We had a lot of fun doing it too. At the closing, the youth preformed a dance-drama (see link below), and we really enjoyed watching it. They did a great job! They also gave out awards to some of the kids, and Aaron and Abigail both received awards. Aaron received a leadership award, and Abigail received a discipleship award. So proud of them, and Andrew too, of how they are so involved in church, and are quick to serve and share their faith.

Youth Performance

🎵 The very next day the church all gathered for a night of singing carols, and Anna preformed several songs with her Sunday School class, and she got to play the tambourine. 🎶

That wraps it up! Ahead we have another busy week, and following that, a nice quiet Christmas and New Year’s.
