Yesterday was an eventful day. 🥰✝️🙏🏻 The morning was spent finishing up school for the week (one week left until Christmas break 🤗) and then our shipment arrived, clearing customs and all the hoops that have to be jumped through for that to work.

Two boxes 📦 📦 traveled across the ocean 🌊
on a ship 🚢 for four months

I wanted just a few small things for the kids to remember home and feel connected to their homeland.

About to open the box (the other box was for SITAG)
First glance, puzzles and sparkling water (neither of which can we get here)
A new version of Uno! (Uno Remix- we are currently collecting all the versions)
A button pushing game (like Simon says or memory)
I knew Asiel would be thrilled 😁

After the fun of opening the box, Josh let me and Asiel be the ones who got to deliver ten boxes of prayer books to the Catholic Church (they came on the shipment too). Then we also went to a government office to get a tax exempt form for propane gas bottles signed. (The gas is used for the stoves at SITAG.) There was lots of traffic, but we enjoyed the air conditioning in the truck.

On our way into town!
Boxes that came on the shipment 🚢 📦 for the Catholic Church

I am thanking God for his faithfulness and for the success of our errands. You never know if offices will be open, or if traffic will put you at a standstill. I was so glad to get out of the house, and so was Asiel. We also went on a hunt to find her shoes! That took a bit, but was a success, as well. Thanking God for His many mercies everyday.

The mini mouse thingies came off after two seconds, but they will still work!
