#sigosherts

I stumbled upon a glorious sight the other day when I went to a friend’s house to lend my breast pump and show how it worked. It was an area of town I had not been to before. I was a little nervous about finding the house, and whether my google map actually knew where this place was.

As I turned the corner this beautiful display met my eyes and I was transfixed! I could not drive on (much to the irritation of the taxi behind me, whoops 😅).

This morning I was listening to a song called “Symphony” by Switch. The song starts:

Sometimes its hard to breathe
All the thoughts are shouting at me
Tryna bring me to my knees
And its overwhelming
Darkness echoes all around
Feels like everything is crashing down
Still I know when my hope is found

And it’s only you and oooh
You say you’re working everything for my good and I believe every word

‘Cause even in the madness, there is peace
Drowning out the voices all around me
Through all of this chaos
You were writing a symphony, a symphony

When the song came on, it made me think of this picture I took, this moment I experienced, on a back road, on my way somewhere.

I found my friend’s house. It was a pleasant time, and I walked away with peace that God would use me for good, no matter what happens. Even when I came out of the house to find my shoes and one was missing! (A dog had decided to have a bit of a snack. Ha!) As I searched all around for it, with images of what it might look like when I found it, I was so excited to find it! And no worse for the wear. It looked like it did before the dog got ahold of it too! Praise God!

Much like a symphony 🎶 or a rainbow 🌈 , or a garden 🌸 , God is working out all the pieces. We are all a part of what he is doing. He is the Master. There is true peace when we can truly trust Him, and His word.
