#mondayfunday #sigosherts

I am excited to post today, and get back to Monday Fundays (hopefully).

Asiel Talitha Javelyn Goshert!

This little girl is a blessing to us! And her adoption is finalized! Praise the Lord. We are so thankful for God’s faithfulness to us, and the end of that long journey. Currently, Asiel is potty trained, making sentences, singing Sunday School songs, and begging to go outside and play or have friends over, or babies. She loves babies, even if they are bigger than her.

Adoption Day- the final ruling
Cell Group

We love our cell group family, and are so thankful to be connected to each of the families that are apart of it. It has been a huge blessing in our life.

A little family vacation to B17 Dive

We are so thankful for time away from the city as a family. B17 Dive has a few bungalows right on the beach, and we really enjoy having a place to go a couple times a year to unplug and recharge, enjoying God’s creation. It’s a lot like camping on the beach, and this time we came home with a lot of bug bites, but it is worth it!

The Second Game Night

We are blessed to have friends who like to come over and play games with us. We recently started a game night, and have had two so far. The laughs are big and fun is had by all. I only got a picture of Jenga, but we also played Uno Show No Mercy, as well as Dutch Blitz. We hope to have another one in a few weeks.

Anna loves flowers

Anna and I have started doing a Bible study together this school year. I am so blessed by this girls good attitude, and love for Jesus. Sometimes we meet at home, and sometimes we go out for coffee. In the picture above we stopped at the market for some flowers. Anna loves arranging flowers, and she is really good at it.

Taco Lessons

A few weeks ago I invited a bunch of young ladies over to learn how to make tacos, mainly the tortillas. I taught them about sourdough as well. We had so much fun rolling tortillas and eating tacos. I got to send everyone home with a little sourdough and some measuring cups, and a packet of cumin! The spice of life! Haha! 😂 I am so blessed to know these ladies and get to talk about food and health with them. I am eager to do more!

My Solomon Sisters
Youth Beach Trip- learning to grill over an open fire

Josh has been volunteering with the church youth group, and that lead to all of us heading to the beach with the youth group a couple of weeks ago. I have always wanted to learn how to grill like they do on the beach here in the Solomons, and I got my chance! Yay! Pama was a very patient teacher, and I learned how to make the fire and keep it going. So fun! I am so blessed to get to try new things and learn, and have fun doing it.

Asher’s blue tongue

During one of the games the youth played, Asher got to participate, and this was the result: a BLUE TONGUE! He had a lot of fun.

Market trip

For the first time ever, I think, I had my picture taken at the market. I am usually too busy buying things to get my picture taken. Haha. I am so blessed to have access to such amazing fruits and vegetables, that are very affordable too.

My super blessed life

Asher is making toast now. Ha! And riding with his big brother on a moped.🏍️ I am visiting friends and trying to be a blessing where ever I go. When I stop and think of just how blessed I am it is so easy to turn around and bless others. God has been so good, and I can’t help but praise him, smile, press on and endure hard things, all because he loves me and has called me to live for him! 🌈 💜

I am truly blessed. 🥹
