Asiel is ready to fly

January 24th, at 2 pm, in the Solomon Islands 🇸🇧 , we headed for America 🇺🇸 . We made it to Fiji, and then because of weather, went on to LA, landing on January 24th, at 12 pm! (Does that make us time travelers?) We had circumnavigated the globe in 1,776 days! 😆 (Because of covid we had started in LA and flown to Dallas, then Qatar, then Australia, then finally arriving in the Solomon Islands, and now, 5 years later, we landed back in LA.)

Tucked in beside mommy and daddy
1,776 days and we are back where it started (circumnavigating the globe!)
Getting some sleep before our red eye flight to Orlando from LA
Surprise!!! Sissy (Abi) is in Orlando too!

Abi was able to come to Orlando while we were there, and volunteer at Refresh!, working in Asiel’s classroom. She surprised everyone, except me, I helped plan all along. It was fun to spend so much time with her. We get to see her again on her spring break.

Refresh! with lots of fun food!

Refresh! was a great time of camaraderie, learning, and good food! Wow! The kids got to experience a lot of things for the first time in 5 years. It was a perfect landing place for us.

Trying to stay warm! (Florida had record lows!)
Jesus Film tour (I highly recommend!)
Bye bye to Sissy
Library fun

We headed to Daytona Beach to visit friends we made in the Solomon Islands. We have been here for almost a week, and we have visited lots of libraries and playgrounds. We managed to get some warm clothes, and a stroller! Praise God for thrift stores!

Playground fun
Beach fun
Daytona Beach with the Nelsons

Up next, Merritt Island to visit friends and supporters. Teen Missions is there, and it was where I first fell in love with serving God through missions, and I am excited to show my kids where I went to the Lord’s Boot Camp!
