As March drew to an end I realized our home here in the Solomons seemed familiar and homey. It was a very nice feeling.

In September my mother began working on a shipment of supplies for us. Since it was supposed to take 3 months, and be here before Christmas, Christmas gifts were included as well. Well, it didn’t make it here for Christmas, but we all got a kick out of the fact that it arrived on the 25th of March! The kids enjoyed opening presents from their Yaya, and it was nice to get some love from all over the country, and restock on some much need medical supplies. We also were able to give some hats and sunglasses to staff members here, which was super fun.

(Even though he doesn’t like it.)
Asher is officially reading, despite his adamant feeling that reading is of no use to him. He is not a fan. It is a daily chore for both of us, but it is exciting to watch him read so well. Apparently he doesn’t give anyone else a hard time when he reads during “free” time.

Amidst the school and cooking and laundry I managed to snag a few fun pictures. Above we have Josh eating out of our giant wok, with a big spatula, which I found hilarious. He was just finishing off what was left of the veggies, but it cracked me up.
I was also able to catch Aaron trying to teach Josh how to solve one of his weird shaped rubix cubes. Afterwards Josh said, “I didn’t solve anything, I just moved the pieces Aaron told me to move.” Ha!
The picture from outside was a great catch if I do say so myself! There were 5 neighbor kids playing PNG “hand ball” (kind of like 4-Square).
The one of Josh and Anna is from Josh measuring all the kids’ heights on the first of the month; something we try to do every month.
Looks like a nice home! God bless!
