#sigosherts #mondayfunday

Lots of things are happening around SITAG these days. It is busy, busy! As I looked at my calendar last night I kind of shook my head in wonder. So many things on the calendar. This is definitely outside my comfort zone. But each family member is involved in some sort of ministry, and SITAG is buzzing with activity as translators gather for a training course on Translating the Pslams. Each of us plays a part in welcoming and loving and hospitality here at SITAG and in our local church.

Trying a new fruit

Amidst all the activity we continue to do school and learn and grow and try new things. We are still finding new (to us) fruits and trying new cooking adventures, like PASTA!

Making pasta for the first time
Making messes, like always 🤷‍♀️😜😂🥰
Making memories

Each day is an opportunity to make a memory. We are all busy running around SITAG helping here and helping there. The staff are just as busy, and we all enjoy working together. It is a blessing to know all the people at SITAG, and work with them and learn from them.

Gathering at Tea Break (10 am every weekday)

One thing everyone in the family enjoys is the daily (weekday) Tea Breaks. It is a chance for us to all gather and check in with one another. We have a quick cup of tea (or coffee) and a biscuit or two (US-crackers) before we go back to our tasks. I love how relational the Solomons culture is. 🥰

A special song to say good-bye to a team going to another country to serve Bible Translators

Hanging out with friends

It’s just so cool to see my kids engaging in activities around SITAG and the local church we attend. They are also very friendly and engaging with any kids that come to SITAG to stay or that live here, or come to visit our home. We are all loving and serving together, I couldn’t be more happy! ✝️🥰
